Fusion Cup Outline 1v1 PVP battledome

Basically, it is a 1v1 PVP league. I just want to share my outline with you guys and hopefully get some nice feedback.
How it works...
I will be MC of the league. People can offer to participate in the league or not. The only thing that counts though, is that I have to be there to record the match.
So, basically, Fusion Cup is somewhat of a passive league, and its purpose is acquiring data of PVP plays. There are preliminaries... and the data acquired from it would eventually lead to an invitation to participate in the real deal. (I'm looking for panel of judges, preferably from Fusion). The preliminaries will probably take some time...
For the Cup, I'm thinking of having about 8-12 participants. If it's 8, the players will be divided into two groups. 2 Players from each group advanced to the quarterfinals by a point system. (Players within each group plays 3 games against each other player in the group. The two that has the most points will advance. There's also a chance of tie-breakers).
The Quarterfinals will have the player with the least points fight against the player with the most points, and so on.
Alright, so the rules... and requirement to actually participate(not for prelims!):
Basically, you can only use Sieg, Eir, Dainn. They must be lvl 50 to 70 without any rebirth. Players will not use any equipments or have any CS with + stats. The possibly of additional characters can be decided upon, but I want to stick to the original three for simplicity sake.
-This requirement might seem extreme, but don't you think it is easy to achieve nowadays? I think its good. Everyone should have a character thats qualified so if I have future tournaments, they'd have it ready. And other people might extend upon this idea as well.
I will use Lunar's set of PVP rules obtained from early Korean PVP. If rules are broken, the player is granted 1 rematch. If it happens multiple times, the player will lose the match and eventually be disqualified.
For the Fusion Cup Preliminaries, I was hoping we can get a Fusion Representative to PVP players in war. I cant PVP while recording so I can't do it myself. It will be like PVP guild tryouts of course, and video-recorded. I was hoping just to have 1 representative to do this to keep things consistent.
What do you get from winning Fusion Cup? I don't know yet. I have no funds, and can only offer art portraits of their character. Also, based on the outcome of the league, the winners will basically be invited back into future leagues with varied incentives.

i dont like the korean pvp rules because i strongly feel it's tilted in the favor of seigs (they can combo practically forever without breaking the 2 chain rule, and then have voke ready again) and it promotes spamming (or at least boringly short combos) for eirs. just not my style

The rules says you cant use skills more than twice in a single combo. So... you have to be pro at windmill/windmill cancel to do it forever... which I think is already high level to do. And somewhat hard to do.
And I think its alright and not a big deal... it worked in the past. Eir just has to bring her A-game to the table, which is running, healing and stuff.
btw, u can counter provoke play by getting up close or stay at a farther distance. use obstacles like moon barrier/dodge... I think eir has more than enough to take on sieg considering they have their own buff/provoke

yea... that's the thing... i dont even need a word to describe running and healing because everybody has already said it
that's just me though, and you probably already know that from pvping me
and i'm not saying i don't know how to counter voke, but it's like what if eir kept comboing long enough to drop u then wave you again or dain to orb u again? im just saying, i've always felt the rules were tipped to seig's favor. so i'm just putting it out there. not saying anything is wrong with your tournament. well except maybe for the part where you should specify which pvp channel

i'd use play dead, but probably be dodged later
Idunno what to say though, eir has her stuff too with the space attacks, holy spirit, mediocre range, freeze abilities. It's like an obstacle course unless you got mdef. Same with Dainn matchup. anyways, since provoke can be countered, and sieg's combos will be limited... (there is a windmill/windmill cancel limit) I don't know how unfair it is
albeit, i have yet to see an eir win the old korean tournaments, but since the changes, its hard to tell because of their new abilities and long combos
if theres a better way plz tell me cuz iunno really how to balance sieg V eir matchup

combo rules are fine... eirs and dainns have plenty of room to combo with the skill limit
esp since there is space reset now
dunno how it would be more "fun" if u stayed in the air longer
